Helping North Texas students bring their ad visions to life has always been fun for Adam. As an alumni of UNT, it keeps him grounded in his roots and it also intruduces him to future Art Directors. A few weeks ago he got with work with Matt Slider – student, friend and occasional photography assistant. The goal was to produce print ads for the DIY Network that evoked the fear of tackling home improvement projects. Ummm…I’m scared! You?
Chances are you’ve heard of Carine Roitfeld – editor in chief of Vogue Paris. Adam was a little less educated – he’s more of a Patagonia man than Armani. But after his shoot with FD Luxe, a few weeks ago, he was quickly brought up to speed. If you have yet to pick up a copy of this month’s FD Luxe, go now… there’s still time.

Local morning news can be as bland as your breakfast toast, but WFAA is trying to change all that and they’ve got just the guy… Ron Corning. There’s pretty much nothing this guy won’t do; as you’ll see in WFAA’s February ads. It made for an entertaining shoot and it’s sure to brighten your mornings. Who doesn’t want someone to taste the out of date milk before pouring it into the morning’s cereal bowl? And if mornings aren’t your thing… well, Ron can babysit while you enjoy a night out. What a guy.
On location and at home… I’ve finally gotten Adam out of his refusal to Instagram. Now that he’s joined the party, it’s time to follow along @fishfotography.

It’s a new year and that generally means doing a little house cleaning and photographers are no different. My own little Mr. Clean found a few old faves that have never seen the light of day… until now.
Hitting the road for some looks like a drive through the country in luxury with the top down, as it did for Christopher Wynn of FD Luxe a few months back.
For Adam and Jon Flaming, hitting the road is all about the scrounge. Wondering just what the hell that means? It’s Adam shooting the abandoned treasures of old Texas towns while Jon Flaming hunts for vintage gold to create his next painting or art piece. Thank God they aren’t hunting the same thing – we don’t need an old fashioned Texas shoot-out on our hands. Bang!

Adam recently shot this ad campaign for Rave with a crew of devoted talent and assistants at 5:00 am. So grateful for the insane Chris Mano (Adam’s right hand guy on this shoot) who has the gift of being able to make others laugh and stay awake at the butt crack of dawn.
While many of us will be the recipients of neck ties, gift cards or the obligitory socks and underwear, FD Luxe had some other gift items in mind for the holiday season. Adam recently shot a few of their most wanted.
What will you wake to find under your tree this Christmas? Adam and I will be donning new socks and underwear. Whatever…it’s tradition!
