With the dawning of a new decade comes change; thus the exhibit “Work Prints”, Commerce Street Bridge to Westmoreland Road, a Ft. Worth Avenue Time Capsule attempts to document Ft. Worth Avenue anticipating the changes coming to our West Dallas corridor.
Haley Henman Gallery will host two day “guerilla photo” exhibit on Friday and Saturday, opening reception 6:30-9pm, Friday February 26.
Originally conceived by Jeff Herrington, the show will feature the work of 20 local photographers who trained their lenses on specific Ft. Worth Avenue properties assigned by lottery.
The photographers include: Les Hall, Kenda North, Howard Milner, Scott Jenke, Chuck Reed, Joshua King, John ODonnell, Ken Smith, Adam Fish, Kent Barker, Dan Piassick, Jeff Baker, Richard Doherty, Manuel Pecina, Larry Travis, Scott Keith, Robin Sachs, Eva Gordon, Mari Hidalgo, and David Lyles.
Please join us in celebration of the local imagery, food and drink of our corridor. Although light snacks will be available at the opening, a list of fabulous local eateries will be available at the door for those of you who would like to continue your exploration of North Oak Cliff.
